Atari, one of the world’s most iconic consumer brands and interactive entertainment producers changes metaverse land for Arcade retro game streaming portfolio and games database with the two strategical movements announced today.

The company completed the sale of certain non-fungible token parcels of land in The Sandbox to a third party. Atari received a cash payment for its metaverse land of $4,284,000.

On the other side of the chess board, Atari is making a $3.5 milion strategic investment in Antstream Limited and a related option to purchase the assets of Mobygames, Limited, including the Mobygames website and database.

Antstream Arcade is an officially licensed retro game streaming platform with 1000+ titles to play, exclusive challenges & global tournaments.
Antstream\u2019s mission is to make legendary gaming experiences as accessible as Spotify, Netflix and YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investment in Antstream Limited was made pursuant to a convertible loan agreement that can be converted into equity of Antstream Limited in a future financing, with an initial investment of $500,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The option to purchase the assets of Mobygames is at a purchase price of $1.5 Million and may be concluded by the end of March, 2022.
