The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) has signed a memorendum of understanding (MOU) with the Media Zone Authority –\u00a0Abu Dhabi, who is committed to the continued development of the media industry in\u00a0Abu Dhabi.
\nUnder this MOU both organizations formalize their shared commitment to building a solid bilateral relationship that will support the continued development of Abu Dhabi\u2019s media industry and the strategic entry of KOCCA into the Middle East.
\nThe KOCCA will carry out vocational training programs participated by Korean companies, business matching programs for start-ups and encourage Korean companies to enter the UAE.<\/p>\n

\u00abKorea has been cooperating and had a favorable relationship wih UAE in the area of energy and construction,\u00bb said the President of KOCCA, who added, \u00abIt’s time to collaborate in\u00a0the\u00a0content industry to go forward\u00a0and build a\u00a0bright future together.\u00bb<\/p>\n

This MOU was concluded as part of the opening ceremony of the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in the UAE on\u00a0March 10th\u00a0with the participation of 70 officials from both countries including HH Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister for Culture and Knowledge Development, launched the first Korean Cultural Centre (KCC) in the Gulf region in a ceremony held at the Centre\u2019s headquarters in twofour54 Abu Dhabi. HE Noura Al Kaabi, Chairwoman of the Media Zone Authority and twofour54, Minister of State for the Federal National Council Affairs; Maryam Al Mheiri, Acting CEO of twofour54; HE Kwon Haeryong, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the UAE; and H.E. Park Younggoog, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea were among the ceremony\u2019s attendees on Thursday.<\/p>\n
