{"id":3799,"date":"2016-04-28T10:17:52","date_gmt":"2016-04-28T08:17:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eastwind.es\/marketing\/en\/?p=3799"},"modified":"2016-04-28T10:17:52","modified_gmt":"2016-04-28T08:17:52","slug":"facebook-posts-3fold-income-growth-in-1stq2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eastwind.es\/marketing\/en\/facebook-posts-3fold-income-growth-in-1stq2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Facebook posts 3fold income growth in 1stQ2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Facebook declared this same afternoon net income at $1.510Bn for the 1stQ 2016 -closed on 31st march 2016-, a three fold increase compared to the $512 million posted in the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>The company has also improved its operating marging from a 26% in 2015 to the current 37%.<br \/>\n\u00abWe had a great start to the year,\u00bb said\u00a0Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder and CEO, who also announced that our board of directors has approved a proposal to amend and restate our existing certificate of incorporation to create a new class of non-voting capital stock, known as the Class C capital stock.<\/p>\n<p>If approved by the shareholders general meeting to be held next 20th June, this non voting capital holders would let Facebook source money with no risk to loose the cntrol of thecompany for current class A and B shareholders.<br \/>\nThe company declared capital expenditures for the first quarter of 2016 at\u00a0$1.13Bn.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>82% of ad revenues sourced from Mobile<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mobile advertising revenue represented approximately 82% of advertising revenue for the first quarter of 2016, up from 73% of advertising revenue in the first quarter of 2015.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Mobile MAUS and DAUS rise the fastest<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Daily active users (DAUs) were 1.09Bn on average for\u00a0March 2016, an increase of 16% year-over-year, while mobile DAUs were 989 million on average for\u00a0March 2016, an increase of 24% year-over-year.<\/p>\n<p>Monthly active users (MAUs)\u00a0were 1.65Bn as of March\u00a031, 2016, an increase of 15% year-over-year with mobile MAUs at 1.51Bn as of March\u00a031, 2016 ( an increase of 21% year-over-year).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Image over the headline.-<\/strong> \u00a9 Facebook.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Facebook declared this same afternoon net income at $1.510Bn for the 1stQ 2016 -closed on 31st march 2016-, a three fold increase compared to the $512 million posted in the same period last year.
