Y&R announced today that David Patton leaves Grey to join Y&R as Global President.
\nHe has been President and CEO of Grey Group Europe, Middle East & Africa since Jannuary 2010.<\/p>\n

Patton had served as Grey UK Group CEO, overseeing Grey London and Group companies since September 2007 and leading its transformation.<\/p>\n

Before joining WPP, David was Sony Europe\u2019s Senior Vice President, Marketing, responsible for all Sony Electronic marketing communication activities across all Sony consumer and B2B divisions in over 40 countries.<\/p>\n

As a member of the Executive Management Team at Sony Europe, David managed a \u20ac400m budget and headed up a department of over 100 people covering Advertising, Media, Digital, Strategy, Research, CRM, Sponsorship and Promotions, Brand Management, Design, Event Management, Corporate and Consumer PR and in-store activity.<\/p>\n

Prior to this, David was European Vice President, Marketing for PlayStation at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. During his nine years with the company he was responsible for implementing its widely-acclaimed marketing strategy, positioning and planning for the launches and on-going support of the PlayStation brand in over 80 countries.<\/p>\n
