Amazon Prime, seems to consolidate not only as a studio for self produced audiovisual contents but also as a production hub of acclaimed shows.
\nAt least this comes out of the audience and engagement figures provided by Amazon related to The Grand Tour.<\/p>\n

The series show the amazing travel of three friends that go around the world driving their sports cars and living all kind of high adrenaline real adventures. It has all the ingredients of a reality show or doccumentary with no way glamurous protagonists, able to hook the audience.<\/p>\n

Prime video is just one of the services offered by Amazon Video, the premium on-demand entertainment service\u00a0by Amazon including as well Amazon Channels, Rent or Own, Instant Access and Premium Features.<\/p>\n

Amazing response from the public and critics<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The first episode of\u00a0The Grand Tour\u00a0was released at 00.01 GMT on Friday 18th\u00a0November, and customers immediately started tweeting their thoughts on\u00a0it.
\nFurther episodes will be released weekly over the next 11 weeks for Prime members in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Austria and Japan, and the show will premiere worldwide for Amazon customers in over 200 countries and territories in December.<\/p>\n

The show has been the top rated TV show or movie on IMDb, the world\u2019s most popular source of movie and TV data, with an overall rating of 9.6 and over 10,000 votes. It is also rated 4.9 out of 5 stars by more than 15,000 customers on Amazon, and currently has a score of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.<\/p>\n

The studio portion of the show takes place in a travelling tent in locations ranging from Johannesburg to California, Scotland to Rotterdam, Lapland to Nashville, Whitby in North Yorkshire to Stuttgart and the final stop in Dubai. The first episode kicked off in California, when Jeremy, Richard and James took their famous studio tent to Dry Rabbit Lake. Thousands of fans from across the U.S. travelled to the desert near Lucerne Valley, outside of Los Angeles for\u00a0The Grand Tour\u2019s very own \u201cBurning Van\u201d festival which was part of the opener of the first ever episode.<\/p>\n
