On the sidelines of the gala, The Roca brothers (restaurant El Celler de Can Roca -Spain-)lend their best creative Spaniard flavors at the stoves for Elton John’s party nearby the Dolby Theatre.

Against walls and lines on the sand

“In the last 25 years I’ve been living in a country all of our own. Part of it is here, part of it is in Europe, part of it is everywhere. Because I think that the greatest thing our art does and our industry does is to erase the lines in the sand. We should continue doing that when the world tells us to make them deeper.”, Del Toro underscored.

The romance between the cleaner and the anphibius man, mutely broke the line

Located in a high security laboratory during the Cold War, the film tells the love story between the lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) and an amphibious man (Doug Jones). Elisa, who is mute, works as a cleaner in the laboratory. Her life changes up-down when she discovers an experiment classified as top secret, an amphibious man who is kept there, who is as mute as she is.
