“On 15 November 2022, another hours-long, massive shelling took place of the entire territory of Ukraine and its critical infrastructure by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. At 3:40 pm, a Russia-made missile dropped on the village of Przewodów, district Hrubieszów, Lubelskie province, and resulted in death of two citizens of the Republic of Poland. Therefore, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau summoned the ambassador of the Russian Federation to Polish MFA and demanded immediate and detailed explanation”, here the statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.
Should the shelling be an intentioned attak by The Russian federation this could lead to an escalation of the Russia-Ukrania war as Poland is a member of the NATO.
“Spoke with President Duda about the explosion in Poland. I offered my condolences for the loss of life. NATO is monitoring the situation and Allies are closely consulting. Important that all facts are established,” said just an hour ago Jens Stoltenberg (NATO Secretary General).

The Ministry of Defence of The Russian Federation denies any planned shalling on Polish territory and further points that “the alleged fall of ‘Russian’ missiles in the area of Pshevoduv settlement is a deliberate provocation in order to escalate the situation”.
Urgent meeting of NATO members at the G20 convened by Biden

I ask that everyone be calm. Polish soldiers are on site. There is allied support for us and commitments are upheld. We are working, ” the President of Poland estated and continued “…I informed Jens Stoltenberg, the President of the USA, Rshi Sunak and OlafScholz that our ambassador will participate in the North Atlantic Council and that it is highly probable that he will request the activation of Article 4 (i.e. allied consultations).
All the leaders I spoke with today assured me of allied support, upholding all provisions of Art. 5 inclusive. We will consider this matter together.
