Dentsu Aegis Network today announced that they have signed an agreement to acquire the mobile marketing business belonging to the Pontomobi company.
Following completion of the deal, Pontomobi will become part of Isobar, Dentsu Aegis Network’s global digital agency, and will be branded “Pontomobi – Linked by Isobar”.
Pontomobi’s mobile advertising unit, Hands, will remain independent, once executed the transaction.
Leonardo Xavier (Pontomobi CEO and co-founder ) and the Pontomobi leadership team will continue in their roles following the purchase.

Established in 2007 by Leonardo Xavier and three partners, Pontomobi (Pontomobi Tecnologia Informatica) delivers a comprehensive range of tailored mobile marketing solutions, including consulting and strategic planning, mobile design, cross-platform development of applications, sites and games, to its roster of global clients.
The company is headquartered in Sao Paulo with additional offices in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
