This week creative works keep on shining out in the dark. McCann Madrid and Syrmo launched yesterday the first 3D skate tracking gadget with the firs ever skate competition in the dark and AlmapBBDO Sao Paulo makes beasts dance before the very eyes of the TV viewers as if they were driving the new Audi Q7 with night vision assistant. Both pieces add to the “blind” ExStream experiments by O&M Singapore for Singtel we talked about on Eastwindmarketing last 5th May.
First ever skateboarding competition in the dark
Four professional skaters with night vision glasses were competing in a skate park, with no illumination whatsoever and the only one that sees it all is Syrmo, who will be the judge of The Dark Side of Skateboarding the world’s first skateboarding competition in the dark.

Syrmo is the firs ever Smart Pad that once fit to the truck of a skateboard is able, thanks to its electronic sensors, to track every movement of the skateboard.
When the Smart Pad gets connected to an app on the skater’s smartphone it records all the tricks in 3D.
In order to promote the gadget in the skateboarding community, McCann Madrid and Syrmo organized this competition. The winner was chosen by the only one who could actually see all the tricks in the pitch-dark room, Syrmo.
Beasts dance in the dark in the latest Audi Q7 campaign
No fear at darkness neither for the driver and for the beast, thanks to the night vision assistant security feature offered in the 2016 Audi Q7 model, so the animals dance fearless before the very eyes of the TV viewers as they were driving the car. The 7 secs TV spot has been conceived by AlmapBBDO Sao Paulo, and not only makes bests feel like dancing, Imust say.
