Mike Armour , till August this year Chairman StarcomMediavest APAC, has been recently appointed as Chairman of Havas Group Asia Pacific.
He succeeds the 60 years old Spaniard Juan Rocamora, who gets retired both from the position as Chairman
Havas Group and as CEO Southern Europe of the company. Rocamora has been undertaking both responsibilities since 2012.
The appointmen of Mike Armour is effective since 17th October.
He joined StarcomMediavest in 2015 as President Asia Pacific and he held this position till August 2016. He was prior CEO of Project:Worldwide in the same region.
Founder of The O Partnership (2001) and of MAYAM in 2009, till that year he was Chairman & CEO Grey Group Asia Pacific for 4 years. Armour had started working for Grey Group in 2003 as Vice President Worldwide, Executive Client Director.
Prior to this, Mike Armour has been appointed for several managing and leading responsibilities in some of the most creative and strong ad groups worldwide, including TBWA, Wieden + Kenendy and McCann Worldgroup.
