The Spanish Sra Rushmore and the Argentinian Santo Buenos Aires jointly with Ogilvy New York are the agencies selected by Coca-Cola to work in its next brand global campaign.
Advertising Age published the information yesterday and today Sra Rushmore has confirmed that the agency located in Madrid will work for Coca-Cola.
This is not the first time that Sra. Rushmore works for Coca-Cola, the brand
All the three agencies belong to the WPP Group.
Other Spanish agencies also invited to participate in the pitch were McCann Madrid and the Cyranos McCann from Barcelona, as informed Ad Age.
They were not chosen, despite award winning works for the brand such as Benditos Bares.
The choice unveiled yesterday ends the account review started off by The Coca-Cola company last March, after the Spaniard Marcos de Quinto took office, first as Global Chief Marketing Officer on 1st January 2015 and then as Executive Vice President in early February this year.
The review involved a roster of 10 first raw agencies, Wieden & Kennedy Portland included.
Leaving aside the WPP agencies chosen, other seven shops that weren’t selected will remain in the roster to participate in the global campaign in later stages, this is the case, for example ,of Wieden & Kennedy Portland.
