Global Annual Achievement Awards for A.I.- Albert, Application of the Year and L. Rosemberg, Person of the Year

Albert, the first-ever artificial intelligence marketing platform created by Adgorithms in 2010, has been presented the AI Application of the Year recognition at The Global Annual Achievement Awards for Artificial Intelligence.

Albert was recognized for “his” advancement of AI technology, and specifically his contributions to the marketing industry. Now in their second year, the Global Annual Achievement Awards for Artificial Intelligence showcase the diverse applications of AI across many industries.

Louis Rosenberg, was honored as the Ai Person of the Year. Rosenberg invented the technology of Artificial Swarm Intelligence, which combines humans and machines into “hive minds” that are significantly smarter than humans or machines alone. This could be the single best hope we have for keeping humans relevant in an A.I. dominated future.

Awards.AI is the first and biggest global annual achievement awards for artificial intelligence. IOts focus is to support the AI community by recognising the hard work and dedication of those working in the field. This year we have awarded across 17 categories, highlighting achievements in a number of industries and ranging from start-ups, established companies and individuals.
Established in 2015, Awards.AI is part of the Informed.AI Media Group which runs a number of community websites supporting the area of Artificial Intelligence.

Meet Albert

Launched in 2010, Albert is changing the way companies reach current and prospective customers through highly-targeted, autonomous digital marketing programs. A pioneer in the application of artificial intelligence in the marketing industry, Albert demonstrates the power of self-driven technology to execute complicated, multi-channel and multi-step business processes, from start to finish, without ongoing input from human colleagues.

Albert doesn’t just automate existing efforts, however; he executes them at a pace and scale not previously possible. “He” learns as he goes, gathering and analyzing vast amounts of data across channels, and applying the insights he gains from one to all other relevant channels. The result is a significantly more efficient marketing function, and an exponential increase in conversions.

Top brands, such as Harley-Davidson, EVISU, Cosabella, Planet Blue, Made.com and others are currently working with Albert successfully, to the point that Harley davidson, for instance, recently credited “him” with 40% of its NYC sales.

Meet Louis Rosemberg, CEO of Unanimous A.I.

Louis Rosemberg founded Unanimous AI to pursue his combined interests in collaborative systems and human-computer interaction. Rosenberg attended Stanford University where he earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees.

His doctoral work focused on robotics, virtual reality, and human-computer interaction. While working as a graduate researcher at the U.S. Air Force’s Armstrong Labs in the early 1990s, Rosenberg created ‘Virtual Fixtures’, the first immersive Augmented Reality system ever built. Rosenberg then founded Immersion Corporation to pursue virtual reality technologies.

While being CEO at Immersion, he brought the company public in 1999.  Rosenberg also founded Microscribe LLC, maker of the world’s first desktop 3D digitizer – the Microscribe 3D – which has been used in the production of many feature films, including Shrek and Ice Age (acquired in 2009).

More recently, he established Outland Research, a developer of advanced interfaces for mobile devices (acquired in 2012).  He’s also worked as a tenured Professor at California State University (Cal Poly), teaching design and entrepreneurship.  Rosenberg has been awarded more than 300 patents for his technological efforts. He currently lives in California as a longtime vegan, animal rights supporter, and friend of squirrels.
