Android Pay now available in Hong Kong too

Google’s Android Pay is now available in Hong Kong at over 5,000 locations where contactless payments are accepted, including stores such as at 7-Eleven, Circle K, Fortress, Mannings, Maxim’s Cakes, MX, McDonald’s, Pacific Coffee, PARKnSHOP, SmarTone, Watsons, Wellcome, among others.

Android Pay works for its Chinese debut with MasterCard and Visa cards from BEA, DBS, Dah Sing Bank, Hang Seng Bank, HSBC, and Standard Chartered Bank.

The user can add multiple cards (there’s no limit to how many can add) and select which card wants to use before paying, so the user can always enjoy the best deals available.
The app also stores the user’s gift cards, loyalty cards and special offers and allows inapp payments without check out. The apps now accepting Android Pay include Boutir Collect, Deliveroo, Kaligo, Klook, Snaptee, and coming soon, Uber.
