DAVID, part of the Ogilvy Creative Network of the WPP Group, today announced the opening of an office in New York, the mecca of global advertising.
DAVID New York is the agency’s sixth office and the third to open in the last two years, thanks to accelerated growth in recognition and business.
The agency’s New York office will be led by Luiza Prata Carvalho (Managing Director), André Toledo (Chief Creative Officer) and Paula Vampre, the first Global Chief Strategy Officer at DAVID.
The opening of the New York office comes right after DAVID’s appointment as lead agency for TD Bank of the United States. This expansion also brings DAVID closer to several long-standing clients including Coca Cola and AB InBev, with offices in the US city.
After winning Agency of the Year in D&AD, One Show and Clio, DAVID bagged 29 trophies in just seven campaigns at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, including Stevenage Challenge and Moldy Whopper. In addition, several of its creatives led all professional rankings, thus setting a new standard for creative effectiveness, with business growth of more than 50% in 2021.

Young and proven effective management team
Luiza Prata (Managing Director of DAVID New York) joined DAVID Miami in 2021 from W+K Portland, where she ran the Nike account and worked on such iconic campaigns as “Dream Crazy” and “Dream Crazier.”
André Toledo (CCO) is one of the Executive Creative Directors who helped Pancho Cassis making of DAVID Madrid the International Agency of the Year for Adage in just two years.
Last but not least important, Paula Vampre, DAVID’s first Global Chief Strategy Officer, works headquartered in the United States, to oversee the strategy plans for the global accounts of the clients of each the DAVID office all over the world.
