Škoda Auto has appointed Meredith Kelly as Head of Global Marketing. Kelly has assumed her new responsibility this same month, January 2022.
Kelly brings with her many years of international marketing experience and was most recently Head of Brand Marketing Operations at Volkswagen in South Africa.
Meredith Kelly joined the Volkswagen Group in October 2015.
With a Degree in Commerce and Finance, Škoda Auto’s new Global Marketing Head has worked in several multinational companies in the consumer goods sector.
As a Marketing expert, she has held several management positions in South Africa and the UK, in brands of different product categories. Kelly has led market launches for a wide range of brands in Africa, the Middle East, and Central and Eastern Europe.
Commenting on Kelly’s appointment, Martin Jahn, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Škoda Auto , said: “With her many years of experience in international marketing at Unilever, Colgate, Palmolive and Mondeléz, as well as the Volkswagen Group, Meredith Kelly is the right person for the job. I am sure that together with her team she will take the global marketing of Škoda Auto to the next level. I am looking forward to working with her and wish her all success.”
