The Spaniard Belén Frau will succeed Olivia Ross-Wilson as Global Communications Manager at IKEA on 1st November 2021.
Olivia Ross-Wilson will leave her role at Ingka Group to pursue her career outside of IKEA. She will join Volvo Cars as Head of Communications in December 2021.
Frau is currently Deputy Retail Operations Manager at the Swedish multinational.
A Spaniard talent working for IKEA since 2004
Belén Frau joined IKEA in 2004 after 7 years in Deloitte as Audit Manager. A few years later she took the position as Deputy Store Manager and soon after became Store Manager in IKEA Barakaldo, Spain. In 2011 she stepped into a new role as Retail Manager of IKEA Spain, leading the business during the economic crisis.
Later, as Retail Manager for IKEA Italy she led the business through a transformational period for almost 4 years, before joining Retail Management for Ingka Group as Deputy Retail Operations Manager in October 2018.
Warm good bye to Olivia Ross
Olivia Ross joined IKEA Group (now Ingka Group) as Head of Sustainability Communications in 2011, and in 2016 she stepped into the role as Communication Manager.
She has been a driving force in positioning IKEA as a trusted brand across all countries where Ingka Group operates and has transformed the IKEA positioning ambitions around Life at Home, Sustainability and Equality.
