We are Social.- Garrett Dearey, promoted to Global Head of Growth

We Are Social has promoted its Global Head of Partnerships, Garrett Dearey, to the role of Global Head of Growth.
From his new responsibility he will focus on large multi-geography and multi-disciplinary opportunities as well as in supporting new markets, and helping the agency to turn clients’ needs and market trends into inputs for product development.

As global head of growth, Dearey will lead the growth strategy of We Are Social, drive business expansion across all regions, embed the We Are Social brand, awareness and reputation in the marketplace.

Dearey has a deep knowledge of the landscape of the marketing services industry and a wealth of experience of partnering with some of the world’s largest brands within digital content, creative, data and technology.

He was promoted to global head of partnerships at We Are Social in September 2020, and prior to that he was Head of Partnerships at We Are Social UK. Before joining We Are Social in 2015, he worked at Bacardi, where he led global digital strategy.
