After the success of the digital video titled “The courage to say Sì” Giorgio Armani aims to ignite an entire movement to encourage women to say Sì (Yes), to be theirselves, to take their decissions, to be brave. In order to achieve this, the brand started off a conversation in digital platforms and social media called the Sì Women’s Circle, an open dialogue between women, aimed to giving an opportunity for them to share their stories, their “Sì” with each other.

Inaugurating the Sì Women’s Circle, an initial video with Cate Blanchett, inviting women to say “Sì” was posted on 1st March on YouTube, the brand site, and the social networks.
Five inspiring stories
For the Sì Women’s Circle’s first edition, 5 women from around the world, all of who said “Sì”, tell their inspring life stories in 5 inspiring videos. As well as that featuring Cate Blanchett the videos have been published on the brand website, Youtube and social networks.

The five courageus women chosen to inspire others are: Helena Rizzo (Brazilian chef), Kee-Yoon Kim (Korean origin accomplished lawyer who decided to becom an actress and write atheatre play), Charlotte Ranson (ballet dancer at the Paris Opera), Yuja Wang (Chinese pianist living in New York) and Cecile Schmollgruber (San Francisco based founder of Stereolabs).

Completely different one to each other, the reputed Australian actress and the five women featured in the videos have just one thing in common: to have found the inner strength to say Sì to their dreams, Sì to themselves, and to have found the courage and commitment to fully live their passion.

The videos tell about that key moment when a woman says Sì to herself, to her heartfelt desire, the strategical moment when everything changes.
Far from feminist, strongly feminine
The women chosen by Giorgio Armani don’t fight against something but rather for themselves, finding strength to overcome obstacles and to pursue different courses in life. To choose a different destiny, one of passion and tolerance, of the independent spirit typical of the women of our time, of freedom and love, of work and family life, of emotions, hesitation, choice. A woman who allows herself to be who she is, who celebrates who she is: strong and sensitive, deep and lighthearted, enterprising and thoughtful at the same time.
