As part of its global platform, “For those who really love” Zurich Insurance Group (ZIG) celebrates Valentine’s Day by launching an action that breaks the barriers of time and space.
“True love Maps” (www.truelovemaps.com) is a digital and interactive campaign, created by McCann Worlgroup London, that invites all lovers to digitally engrave his love on a tree or a lampost in any street in any part of world, making the message last forever.

The campaign is launched with a moving film showing one of the most enduring couples in Europe, Paco Matilda from Spain, talking about their longlasting relationship while they visit again the most special places for them along their 72 years old marriage.
The idea
Tables, walls, benches and trees, all of them bear love messages engraved on them by millions of couples who are in love. But these messages are not protected against the time fade or from being forgotten. Most likely, the authors never watch them again.
In the digital and using Google era, Zurich Insurance created a way to protect true love and allow it to last forever, but in a safe and careful manner with the environment. Lovers can now carve their love messages (hearts, arrows and names included) on any street in any city around the world, using something as simple as Google Street View.
The street where they met can bear their names
Couples can enter www.truelovemaps.com and fill in a special location for them, for example, the place where thay met or first kissed each other. Then, in real time, the page generates a digital recording with their names on a tree or a lampost.

Further more, then a truly unique video is generated, sweeping the country, then into the city and the selected street, and finally showing the names of the lovers with their message engraved on the tree or lamppost chosen.
