Mailman Group published on their blog this morning an announcement by Endeavor Group explaining thet Endeavor China has acquired Mailman.
The move, explains teh press release, signals the company’s continued commitment to servicing clients in China, Asia-Pacific, and beyond looking to excel in the world of sports marketing.
Mailman and subsidiary Seven League will collaborate closely with 160over90 and IMG’s global media businesses.
Established in 2019, Mailman is a technology and social media agency in China. Based in Shanghai, Mailman manages the digital presence of international brands in the sports, entertainment and travel industries.
Among other works the agency has helped Christiano Ronaldo successfully rising his number of fans in China and worked with La Liga to enhance fans’ awareness in this Asian country.

Under the interim leadership of John Steere
The purchase of Mailman is the latest great change in Endeavor China this year. In May John Steere assumed the responsibility as as Interim Chief Executive Officer of the company in May 2020.
Steere had joined 160over90, a 800-person global creative agencycomprised in the Endeavor network as SVP & Managing Director China in november 2019.
At that time He was Managing Director of Imagination China. There he led the diversification of this experience agency.
Before working at Imagination China, John Steere had been President of MyMM, (Lane Crawford’s eCommerce marketplace platform), where he led a nearly 200-person staff in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The 30 years experience of this seasoned leader span PR, digital, shopper marketing, activation and eCommerce as well as servicing global brands and agencies including AT&T, Visa, Gartner, McCann, Saatchi and DDB.
