JCDecaux SA recently announced that its wholly-owned Hong Kong subsidiary, JCDecaux Transport, has successfully won the competitive tender to operate the advertising concession at Hong Kong International Airport for a period of 5 years starting from April 9th, 2016.
JCDecaux has been managing advertising sales concession of Hong Kong International Airport since its opening in 1998.
With this new concession, JCDecaux has 105 digital displays in its portfolio, in particular two iconic 360° Digital Totems that can offer maximum campaign visibility to passengers. It will also include a new format of exterior airbridge with high advertising impact, covering all departure and arriving zones.
Hong Kong International Airport is one of the busiest international airports in the world with 68.5 million passenger traffic and 406,020 flight movements in 2015.
N°1 in outdoor advertising in the Asia-Pacific region with 236,760 advertising panels, JCDecaux posted €3,208million revenues in 2015.
