Goodbye to Felix Vicente
Félix Vicente joined McCann Worldgroup 40 years ago and has led the agency in Spain for over 20. Under his leadership, McCann has positioned itself as the number 1 marketing services agency in Spain.
Félix Vicente joined the Group when he was just 16 years old for a 1-month summer internship in the media department. There he began a brilliant professional career, which culminated in his appointment as President and CEO of McCann in January 1998. Then he also served as President of McCann Worldgroup Southern Europe, between 2015 and 2018.
Mark Lund says about Vicente: “During his time at the helm of McCann Worldgroup, the group has recorded an impressive record of success and recognition, both from its clients and from the industry. Félix has built a solid leadership team, which together with the international team, will guarantee a perfect transition. In his more than 20 years at the helm of the company in Spain, he has driven its constant progress and strong integrated growth, for which I want to thank him on behalf of our group for his valuable contribution and his help in this transition to a new stage ”.
McCann Spain’s leaving CEO underlined: “It has been an honor to lead the McCann Worldgroup Spain project during all these years. Today I close a cycle in which my greatest success has been the success of the company. I want to express my enormous gratitude to all those who accompanied me on this exciting journey, for their support and trust, to the great McCann family without whose talent, inspiration and dedication we would never have reached this far and of course to our clients, for having believed in we. I believe that the changes are positive and that it is the right time to hand over the helm to a new leader, who with renewed energy will propel our Group towards even more ambitious goals ”.
