VCCP has promoted Álvaro Ojeda. From now on he will assume the responsibilities as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of VCCP Spain and International Head of Strategy of VCCP Group.
Ojeda has been leading the strategic area of VVCP Spain along five years, first as Strategic Planning Director and since January 2021 as Head of Strategy of the agency.
In addition to continuing to lead the strategy and being a member of VCCP Spain’s management team, from now on Álvaro Ojeda will be part of the Group’s global community of planners working for international clients.
As Chief Strategy Officer of VCCP Spain, Ojeda will continue closely collaborating with Javier Suso and Beto Nahmad in managing the agency in Spain. He will also report to Michael Lee, Chief Strategy Officer of the VCCP Partnership Group and Chairman of the British APG.

Long strategic experience at national and international level
Álvaro Ojeda has an extensive and deep experience in international strategy, having worked at agencies such as Publicis, Poke London (there he was Director of Strategy) and previously worked at agencies such as Engine and The Mill in the United Kingdom, where he serviced brands such as EE, Nestlé, Heineken, Samsung, Sky and Santander.
In the last five years at VCCP Spain, Álvaro Ojeda has worked for clients such as O2, Codere, Acnur, Fagor, Grupo Lactalis, Head, Cope, Rock FM, Microsoft or Alsa, among others. From VCCP Spain, he has worked as well for international clients of the agency such as Honda Motorbikes Europe, Oppo, Grupo Mahou-San Miguel or InnoEnergy.
