Dentsu.- Toshihiro Yamamoto succeeds Tadashi Ishii as President

Dentsu Inc. Board of Directors has announced today it has accepted the resignation of Tadashi Ishii as a Representative Director and President & CEO. The Board has selected Toshihiro Yamamoto (currently Senior Vice President) as President and CEO. These changes will become effective on January 23.

Other two changes at the leading team of Dentsu Inc. has been agreed by the Boar as well: Shoichi Nakamoto (currently Director and Senior Executive Vice President & CFO) and Yoshio Takada (currently Director and Executive Vice President) have been selected as Representative Director and Senior Executive Vice President & CFO and Representative Director and Executive Vice President respectively.

After his resignation Tadashi Ishii will hand over his responsibilities to the successor Representative Directors and President & CEO. Ishii will fulfill his accountability to shareholders until the expiration of his term as Director after Dentsu’s annual shareholders meeting to be held in March 2017.
